A doctor isn’t running a scam if she treats but does not cure you. A lawyer isn’t engaging in fraud if he represents you to the best of his ability but doesn’t get you the justice you think you deserve. In the same way, a credit help specialist isn’t necessarily ripping you off if she makes every legal effort to remove negative items from your credit history but doesn’t succeed.
