Cancellation Policy

Select reserves the right to cancel the service contract in the event of fraudulent conduct or misrepresentations by the customer, failure to make the required payments, or upon agreement. The customer may cancel the agreement within 30 days from the order date of the agreement and will be entitled to a full refund only if no service has been provided under the contract. After 30 days, the customer may receive a pro-rated refund for the non-discounted annual plan cost. The customer will be charged a $75 cancellation fee, plus any service expenses incurred by Select Home Warranty.

The electric cook top stopped turning on and kept me out of the kitchen for a week. If it was not for the service departments speedy work on finding a appliance repair company and parts, this could have take longer. I like my warranty.

Please whatever y’all do don’t get select home warranty as your company to fix you appliances in your home. I did and my ice maker quit working made a claim took them 2 months to get someone out here to look at it, when he got here he said it was the filter in ice maker and fridge that was the problem plus the motor in ice maker. He came back with new motor and filters, at least that’s what he said, but when I looked at it after my husband called me asking if he fixed it, I said he said yes to my mom, that my fridge was now flashing 14 E on the front and there was nothing new in it. Now my fridge is more broke now then what it was before. I can’t change temps on fridge or freezer or change... Read More

A week before Thanksgiving my secondary oven broke down. I needed the extra kitchen for the big meal I was making. Select provided a quick turn around time on repair and parts. I was very happy about it.

We recently bought our house in November. We discovered a leak under our kitchen sink and found it to be our garbage disposal. I called the 800 number and was advised that I would receive an email with the next steps. The old owners received the email and thankfully they are very nice and friendly and forwarded the email from Select Home Warranty to me for the next steps of my claim. I will check into Select Home Warranty having the correct information to send if there is another claim. The customer service rep was very friendly and helpful and the steps so far have been simple. I switched to this company from my previous insurance company because it was more affordable and had great reviews but I was very dissatisfied with my very claim being denied when I was under the expression that all electrical issues related to my home are covered but to find out that the issue I have is light lantern that has detached from my home and is hanging by the wires causing me to fear it causing bigger issues I called this claim in only to learn I must spend more money to get something fixed I thought I had already paid for coverage so I advise to read every possible part of the contract so that when it comes time to use it you won’t have a surprise like I did 😔

This is my second year with Select Home Warranty. I used them a couple of times that first year and the sum savings covered the annual cost of the warranty. Although I hope I don't have to call them this year I am glad to have them available if I do.

I have the garage door replaced and once again it functions. Took one and a half weeks to get everything situated and complete. We are glad that we own this warranty now.
