Cancellation Policy

Select reserves the right to cancel the service contract in the event of fraudulent conduct or misrepresentations by the customer, failure to make the required payments, or upon agreement. The customer may cancel the agreement within 30 days from the order date of the agreement and will be entitled to a full refund only if no service has been provided under the contract. After 30 days, the customer may receive a pro-rated refund for the non-discounted annual plan cost. The customer will be charged a $75 cancellation fee, plus any service expenses incurred by Select Home Warranty.

My stomach was in knots at the water pressure failing on me and just trickling. Select kept me calm and worked quickly and robustly. They came in in a few days and fixed a lodged gunk in the pipe not getting water through properly anymore.

It took two weeks to finish my claim. I had my concerns but they squashed them all and did there homework finding a good repair specialist who could also find and install the parts needed. Service was efficient and worth owning.

They provide only what they estimate materials for repair should be if you don't use their contractors. But the two contractors they assigned either didn't service my area or never returned my calls. Some of their reps give incorrect information and then policyholder is punished for following those instructions on proceeding with claim.

Renewing this warranty in the future will be a for sure for me. With in this past year the service at Select saved me a great deal of money and headaches and is something I can't recommend enough. A+ company

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! This company is not trust worthy and will find anyway to get out of covering the repairs. They are difficult to deal with on the phone by not helping resolve financial issue and talk in circles. I spent 1 to 2 hours for the last 4 days about a issue with a contractor that would not move forward on my dishwasher repair unless he had collected my $45 contract fee. I was told by multiple people that since this was my first claim it would be free. I explained that to him but Select had not passed that message to him so why should he believe me. This company is one of the worst that I have ever do business with. I took out a contract with on April 28,1919 and on July 28,1919 I called to turn in a claim on my dishwasher. and they said okay and that they would get a repair man to call and setup a date and time to come out .Well that never happened. Today I called them again and we had bad word between us and I told them I wanted to cancel and wanted all my money back well they said they could only give me one payment back because I paid monthly. I told them I wanted all five payments back they said no that I was only entitled to one month back and then wanted send an adjuster out today I then told them no I was done with them and... I began my warranty service for SHW in April 2019 and purchased their most expensive 3 year policy. I submitted a claim for a refrigerator and it took almost 3 weeks for them to get a technician out!!! When the technician came out he spent time on the phone talking to his other customers and never addressed the problem and left. SHW told me since the technician was not able to take care of the problem they would send a courtesy check, I NEVER RECEIVED THE CHECK!!! I tried putting in another claim for another appliance and again it took another month and when I called to inquire they told me they can't locate a technician to dispatch in the area?? Really?? Back in 2015 I began my warranty service provided by SHW. I am still a happy customer and after countless claims have been honored I will renew again for another 4 years. They are affordable and easy to really upon in case of a problem somewhere in my home.

There was no mistake in starting with Select they are patient and listen to all the details of my claim and then come out and repair the problem. I am very satisfied with them and I feel like I am in good hands when trouble arises.
