For the sake of education and peace-of-mind, this company provides a sample contract and quote calculator on their website. In exchange for a $75 administration fee, they also offer a pro-rated refund if the initial 30 days have expired.

Cancellation Policy

Select reserves the right to cancel the service contract in the event of fraudulent conduct or misrepresentations by the customer, failure to make the required payments, or upon agreement. The customer may cancel the agreement within 30 days from the order date of the agreement and will be entitled to a full refund only if no service has been provided under the contract. After 30 days, the customer may receive a pro-rated refund for the non-discounted annual plan cost. The customer will be charged a $75 cancellation fee, plus any service expenses incurred by Select Home Warranty.

This is the worst company; I believe this is a fraud for the consumer. I have a contract with them and I tried to use for the first time because my water heater was leaking, I submitted the request. Never contacted me so I called and after 15 minutes waiting, I heard a person who said that they did not contact me because They don’t cover water heater leaking. They told me to read the contract the second page 6.27 very small letters where they have all the exclusions and inclusions I asked them why those exclusions/inclusions where so small that we can’t read. They took my money$1,125 for one year and 3 months free. When I tried to use is was not cover. They don’t cover Water Heater... Read More

Let me just say Select Home Warranty SUCKS! I am always fair when reviewing a company. Do not believe anything they claim to include on their website! I took a great deal of time trying to select a reputable home warranty company and even with my research and due diligence I failed miserably. They cover NOTHING except for clearing a drain. My microwave went out. I called to put in a claim only for them to tell me that because my microwave was old they would only give me $50 towards it. So, we bit the bullet on that one and just bought a new one and paid for it to get installed. I sent in my receipt to get reimbursed for the $50 and NEVER received it. After looking through the... I recently purchased my Platinum Plan with Select Home Warranty. I decided to get this plan as it covers all my appliances. After 3 months I had my air conditioning freezing up. I called Select and they gave me a prompt service more than satisfaction. The technician who came out for inspection was very friendly and knowledgeable.  I always have been considering getting another premium coverage for my new home. Quality service at a very affordable plan.

I got a broken pipe that needs immediate attention. I called Select Home and request to fix it. The support processed my claim in just minutes and was able to dispatch someone in less than 24 hours. The service was very satisfactory and amazing. I will definitely recommend Select Home Warranty to my friends and family. They continue to improve on a day to day basis in order to offer better services.  Nothing is more satisfying when you are getting what you paid for.

I called Select to file a claim but I was unable to get connected with someone so I decided to file a claim through their website. I got a call from a rep the next hour and he immediately processed my claim. It has become easier to file a claim using their website. Knowing you can do it anytime at your own convenience. The electrician came out the very next day and did the job right away. I’m happy with the result of a short repair.

I appreciate your help Select Home Warranty for helping me get my sump pump working. My ex home warranty plan was not able to do it. I had them for five years and yet they cannot seem to fix my pump, every now and then I have to call them up to get it working. But Select was able to fix it and until now it is working. In case someone sends a survey, I will give you 5 stars, because you deserve it. I really appreciate that.

Select Home Warranty’s Customer Service is very courteous and professional on the phone. They listened to my endless yapping without any hint of complain. They just listened and sympathized with me. They recommended a great electrician who did a marvelous job and came to my house after 6 hours. This is actually the first time I went with this company and I am so glad I made the right choice with Select Home Warranty. I am recommending them to my neighbors.

It is a nightmare for a home owner when their furnace stops working during the winter season. I am glad that Select tried their best to help me out and got this working in no time. You could just imagine if you have no one to help you on a winter day .I do not have to worry about my appliances conking out no matter what time of the year it would be... i have Select to take care of that.

I have kids and pets in my house. So when the HVAC system broke down. It was an utter chaos. I cannot afford for my HVAC not to be working for a day, much more for a week. It will be detrimental. Good thing before my HVAC broke down, I had already switched home warranty provided. SHW took care of my HVAC issue for just a day. I am quite satisfied with their service. I give them two thumbs up.

I inherited an old house from my grandparents here in Georgia. As to be expected, there are a lot of works to be done since breakdown of things are imminent. I was opting to get a not too expensive home warranty that could help me a bit. But a neighbor recommended that I get a plan from Select Home Warranty. So as a good neighbor I signed up with Select Home Warranty. So far 2 of my claims went well. I am satisfied with the quality of work.
