Cancellation Policy

Select reserves the right to cancel the service contract in the event of fraudulent conduct or misrepresentations by the customer, failure to make the required payments, or upon agreement. The customer may cancel the agreement within 30 days from the order date of the agreement and will be entitled to a full refund only if no service has been provided under the contract. After 30 days, the customer may receive a pro-rated refund for the non-discounted annual plan cost. The customer will be charged a $75 cancellation fee, plus any service expenses incurred by Select Home Warranty.

They corrected an issue with a non working range fan thats built in over the oven. This unit is really expensive industrial and I am a pro cook. For me with the kind of money I spent it was well worth it now that I know they deliver on the promises of the contract.

The dude that came to my house was really chill. I payed him $45 call fee. i got him from Select Warranty when I was using their web online tools. He came in about 2 days and fixed my dryer, thanx.

I am going to say I almost never think a warranty program is worth the money in the end. Now that I have given Select Home a chance I retract my words. The cost of my annual plan was well worth it after I made three claims during february june and july. They covered my plumbing and heating pool issues and rather quickly I must add.

I wish I had looked for negative reviews on the net before buying a plan from Select Home Warranty because I would have known what I know now. It is so awful to have to deal with rude and snide customer “dis”service representatives and to constantly be told that your plan covers nothing and that your appliance is not covereved. Or if the contractor sent to fix the problem fails to fix the problem, that’s it! There’s nothing else to be done for you. Don’t purchase from this company.

Horrible company. We got coverage 11 months ago and never tried to use them until just now. Our furnace broke last Saturday and will not be getting fixed until Monday or Tuesday. Plus even though they are supposed to be covering furnances they are not paying-we have to. Sharon in Pittsburgh PA

This is one of the worst company experiences that I've ever had. They do not respond to calls, then try to claim that they did. It takes forever to get anything done, if it even gets done at all. I finally cancelled service with them due to their lack of communication and follow through, and they charged me a $75 cancellation fee. I was told there would be no cancellation fee when I signed up. They are terrible and I paid for it. Do not use them. You will be very disappointed

I moved in to my house 2 months ago and of course the winter came and the heat wouldn't turn on. My warranty came with my home purchase and it was a nice perk. The technician came in on a Saturday and by the time I was done watching cartoons with my daughter he was done. Love these guys!

In total i have had about 4 specialists on my appliances come to my house. They were extremely smart and able to fix and replace parts with the tools they had and parts on hand. I had no issues with long waits for parts and this makes me believe Select is the right choice.

My sump pump deteriorated over 10 years and this is one of the reasons I looked out for a home warranty 2 years back. It came in handy just a few days ago. The thing stopped working and I called up Select to file a claim. It was done very quickly on the phone and I had a serviceman in a day. He managed to get the old lady working again and everything is working fine, good repair good job.
