Cancellation Policy

Select reserves the right to cancel the service contract in the event of fraudulent conduct or misrepresentations by the customer, failure to make the required payments, or upon agreement. The customer may cancel the agreement within 30 days from the order date of the agreement and will be entitled to a full refund only if no service has been provided under the contract. After 30 days, the customer may receive a pro-rated refund for the non-discounted annual plan cost. The customer will be charged a $75 cancellation fee, plus any service expenses incurred by Select Home Warranty.

The work performed was professional in nature and the technician arrived a few minutes early. My food was about to spoil and I had $100 worth of food in there. The actual cord to the wall was damaged and he was able to do a partial repair and come back the following day and replace the board with electric plug adapter. I watched the job done and it was done well from what I can tell.

In early 2017 I had 3 seperate times that SHW scheduled repairs in my home. An A/C unit died during the hot times of the summer and a failed Water pump that was leaking. The A/C was promptly repaired and the technician made a through check of all the other parts. On the second occasion number 2 the water pump cause a leak on the new cabinets and things were dried out and pipe replaced.

The dispatched repair person fix my clothes dryer. He was prompt and had great knowledge of dryers in general. He gave suggestions on how to keep the unit clean from stuff that could jam the machine again so that future problems would be averted.

Our repair the the recent main drain line was clogged again! The person hired personally did a lousy job. the plumbing company inspected the line with video and saw a major blockage and pipe rot. They fished out the entire pipe and replace the section that needed it.

Select Home Warranty helped save me at least $300 in appliance repairs over the past year. Now that my contract is almost up making a new contract is a no brainer. My cost for my warranty for the year was $399.

The heat unit just would not come up 2 days ago and I was gonna flip my wig. It was total freezing out and I had no clue what I was going to do if Select could not expedite a repair man. Janet was helpful when I called and said the emergency service team would call. they did and setup a meeting for the same day! They came and kick started the machine and the heat came back up. This is incredible service, thank you!!

Excellent! The call process and online setup of my appointment were pretty fast and having my Central house unit repaired in under 40 minutes by a licensed dealer is impressive. I will renew soon thank you.

Our furnance su.. is terrible, the noise that kept coming out of it was making me crazy at night. Select hired a specialist who came and found something crawling inside. Yuck. The unit is now super quiet and I can sleep quiet again.

They must be really great to their contractor network because I seem to always get friendly and smart people to my door. Never once did they do a bad job and I will renew with Select in about a month again.
