For the sake of education and peace-of-mind, this company provides a sample contract and quote calculator on their website. In exchange for a $75 administration fee, they also offer a pro-rated refund if the initial 30 days have expired.

Cancellation Policy

Select reserves the right to cancel the service contract in the event of fraudulent conduct or misrepresentations by the customer, failure to make the required payments, or upon agreement. The customer may cancel the agreement within 30 days from the order date of the agreement and will be entitled to a full refund only if no service has been provided under the contract. After 30 days, the customer may receive a pro-rated refund for the non-discounted annual plan cost. The customer will be charged a $75 cancellation fee, plus any service expenses incurred by Select Home Warranty.

I was satisfied with the professionalism of the Customer Service upon calling regarding garbage disposal. However I disagree on your replacement process. I am given $75 reimbursement -which does not cover all cost of replacement. I have priced the least expensive garbage disposal is approximately $90, and I have to pay someone to install. I don't understand why I have this warranty.

The staff has made it an easy process in getting the contract started, explained everything I need to know in case I have to file a claim. I have just purchased this home warranty but I feel very confident that any claims will be resolved quickly and to my satisfaction.

I have 2 children with heart problems so I always make sure that we have our AC system all covered. Then here comes my nightmare! I woke up one time and my AC was a mess. I immediately called Select, worried about my children’s health, the customer support was very accomodating and finds a technician within 24 hours to fix my AC. I cannot be more than thankful for saving my loves. Highly recommended.
