Cancellation Policy

Select reserves the right to cancel the service contract in the event of fraudulent conduct or misrepresentations by the customer, failure to make the required payments, or upon agreement. The customer may cancel the agreement within 30 days from the order date of the agreement and will be entitled to a full refund only if no service has been provided under the contract. After 30 days, the customer may receive a pro-rated refund for the non-discounted annual plan cost. The customer will be charged a $75 cancellation fee, plus any service expenses incurred by Select Home Warranty.

I signed a policy with select home warranty. Two months ago I had a problem with my LG dishwasher not completing the wash sickle, I filed a claim and after 3 days they send someone to check it. He came did some work on it couldn’t find the problem and told me to call him back if the dishwasher does the same problem again. The dishwasher kept doing the same problem ( error code OE & FE ). I called him back he didn’t answer, I texted him he answered me he is out of town and will call me when he comes back. He didn’t call back and didn’t answer my calls and texts. My rental property had a sink leak. Select Home warranty accepted my claim and sent a plumber to my house when I could set a good convenient time. I was told they did a great job. A worthful warranty to keep things in order.

I needed select to get me a new water filter replacement in my fridge cause water was not coming through anymore. Setting up an appointment very quick very easy and ordering parts took 2 business days and then it was replaced for me.

In no way was I going to stay without hot water during the cold period we are going through. Select offered me to get a plumber in my area and they would reimburse the cost. The cost came out $150 and Select after 30 days sent me a check.

During last week my heat would not turn on anymore. I tried changing batteries in the thermo but it did not help. The screen kept blinking. I am glad I purchased a warranty because select was quick to figure out what was wrong. In person I was told some wire went bad connected the electronic unit and they made the replacement and everything went back on. I feel this saves me money.

I setup a claim after I heard a loud noise from the basement and my heat was off. I had to call and document a claim and it was very cold. They understood my situation and were capable of finding a plumber in 24 hours. He was excellent. He also knew electrical and find a jumper burst and replaced it. I highly recommend both the tech and Select.

Before I ordered my warranty it was not obvious to me why I would need this product. After three years I can recommend it, I have saved a couple thousand dollars on repairs around my house. Very valuable indeed.

My wife waited on her day off for a service rep who did stove repair. She was very anxious cause she was preparing for Thanksgiving. Select called us three times that day to make sure everything went good for us. I am amazed with the level of customer care and am thrilled with them.
